Den finske utvikleren Aapo startet Sixth Sample for å lage plugins som er enkle i bruk. Nå har Sixth Sample nylig lansert Spoton, som er en gratis vokal tuner (tenk auto-tune), for Windows og macOS, som finnes i VST3, AU og AAX format.

During these first couple of years of running Sixth Sample, I’ve also been studying information technology, and I’m finally graduating. As a thesis project, I decided to study automatic pitch correction and try to write my version of Auto-Tune. I’ve always been interested in vocal tuning plugins, but as many of them cost quite a lot, I never pulled the trigger and got myself one.
