Stability and reliability
- Resolves an issue where Logic Pro would quit unexpectedly when loading certain projects in Rosetta mode.
- Resolves an issue where Logic Pro could quit unexpectedly after repeatedly recording in a project that includes Step Sequencer.
- Fixes an issue where Logic Pro could quit unexpectedly when hovering the mouse pointer in the channel strip inspector over a Software Instrument that uses a sidechain input.
- Resolves an issue where Logic Pro could quit unexpectedly when disabling Flex Time.
- Resolves an issue where Logic Pro would quit unexpectedly when recording multiple takes into a MIDI cell with «Rec-Length» set to «Cell Length» in the Live Loops grid.
- Resolves an issue where Logic Pro could quit unexpectedly when loading .lso projects created in legacy versions.
Performance
- Performance is improved when using the Marquee tool on tracks that are members of a Group.
Flashback Capture
- When using Flashback Capture in Cycle mode, an unfinished final take is now captured.
- When Flashback Capture is used to record multiple takes, more than four takes can now be captured and the first take is now included.
- The first take is no longer missing when recording multiple takes with Flashback Capture on a MacBook Pro using built-in audio.
Stem Splitter
- Stem Splitter no longer introduces a sample shift with 48 kHz files.
Plug-ins
- Resolves an issue where the rate control in the Arpeggiator plug-in, and the Bow Rate in Sample Alchemy could unexpectedly show «%» after the time value label.
- The scroll wheel on a third party mouse now correctly adjusts the Q-factor on an EQ band in Channel EQ.
- External Instrument plug-ins now show the name configured for MIDI devices in Audio/MIDI Setup.
- Names of plug-ins that are not installed on the system are now shown as expected on the channel strip insert slot.
- Plug-in manager now retains user settings after quitting and restarting Logic Pro.
Control surfaces and MIDI controllers
- Nektar CS12 control surfaces now display labels for learned controller assignments.
- Rotary encoders on control surfaces and MIDI controllers now work correctly.
- MIDI Status in the Recording Light control surface is now shown correctly, and can be edited.
- Opening and closing the Controller Assignments window in Logic Pro no longer causes numeric displays on a connected Mackie MCU Pro control surface to be blank.
- Recording Light now reliably sends the message «Data 1: Recording» to control surfaces when Logic Pro starts recording.
Mixer
- Using tab to navigate while renaming sub-tracks in a multi-output instrument now selects the correct sub-channels.
Editing
- Clicking on a note in the Piano Roll Editor keyboard now selects only the clicked note.
General
- Holding the T key no longer causes the Tools menu to open and close repeatedly.
- A hidden track is no longer unhidden if it is selected in a second Main window that is showing hidden tracks.
- MIDI regions created by copy/pasting a Marquee selected portion of an existing region now contain the MIDI events outside the borders of the Marquee selection.
